Happy 2023!

How do you feel moving into a new calendar year and ending one? Well, on paper, it’s just another year, but I believe it’s just another day. Sun rises each day and doesn’t keep track of a 365-day cycle. Neither does it shine brighter on 1 January! Irrespective of the month or year, each day is blessed.

Of course, this is a good moment to publish yearly diaries.

I believe a calendar carries significance for our materialistic world, which works on numbers. The entirety of the world economy is based on numbers. Are these so valuable in our life’s journey? I beg differ here. What matters are the lessons we learn, which help us to become a better version of ourselves & experiences we gather, and help us to serve society.

How well we convert our discomforts, sorrows or any negativity in our life, to good Karma. Only this will help us achieve real success as a human & it is this good Karma which we carry forward in our next life. Good Karma is like a fragrance; it simply can’t be contained within you. It positively influences everything & everybody around us & imparts a sense of life fulfilment.

Our deeds define us; they are timeless. They only recognise sunrise and sunset. We are a part of this universe and will one day return to it. The success barometer isn’t just monetary achievements or a position in society. On the contrary, it is when you become aware of yourself, and your life purpose.

Perhaps I should consider a career in philosophy.

I certainly didn’t talk about languages today. However, I do not disappoint. Languages help you discover yourself. When you look in that self-mirror, you will always feel a sense of accomplishment.
